Transaction Monitoring, Smarter Detection and Stronger Governance in Mosaic’s New Releases

DATE:
AUTHOR: The Transmit Security team

This release expands Mosaic’s fraud prevention and risk visibility capabilities with the introduction of Transaction Monitoring, enabling organizations to evaluate transactions in real time using identity, device and behavioral context. Additional enhancements improve detection of automated activity, strengthen governance controls and provide deeper operational visibility across identity and fraud workflows.

Highlights

Transaction Monitoring: Expanding Detection and Visibility Across Payment Flows

Mosaic includes Transaction Monitoring, bringing transactions into the same real-time decisioning framework used for identity, device, and behavioral risk. Transactions are treated as first-class objects and evaluated in context, enabling organizations to detect and act on fraud before funds move.

Current capabilities include:

  • Real-time transaction evaluation APIs for both SDK and backend flows, enabling risk assessment at the moment a transaction is initiated

  • Evaluate Transaction journey step, allowing orchestration and decisioning within user flows

  • Transaction Monitoring portal for listing, filtering, and investigating transaction activity

  • Investigation panel with Overview, Session, Entity Analysis, and Raw Data views

  • Behavioral aggregation features such as amount baselines, velocity tracking, currency diversity, and payer-to-payee history

  • Out-of-the-box payment fraud detections, including transaction velocity, beneficiary concentration, progressive transaction growth, geographic anomalies, and channel inconsistencies

These capabilities enable organizations to evaluate transactions using full identity and behavioral context, across both session-based and backend flows. The result is earlier fraud detection, better visibility into transaction risk, and the ability to take action in real time, reducing financial losses while maintaining a seamless user experience.
