We've updated our journey builder with pre-defined journey templates for common use cases, such as password registration and authentication, device management and user migration. These templates leverage the low-code, graphical interface of our journey builder to offer out of the box workflows, reducing implementation time and technical complexity, allowing quicker start for journey developers as they onboard Mosaic.

Journey Fragments for modular orchestration

Our journey-building experience now supports Journey Fragments, allowing users to break down complex flows into smaller, manageable components. The "Disconnect" function enables teams to split journeys into fragments, making it easier to iterate on specific parts without disrupting the entire orchestration, boosting efficiency and accuracy.

Compact Views for improved journey visualization

The new Compact Views enhance the journey-building experience by grouping related steps into blocks and unifying repeating steps under a centralized component. This improvement reduces redundancy, improves readability and makes navigating complex workflows more intuitive.

Introducing Identity Journeys for B2B applications

The integration of our B2B offering into the journey building framework introduces native support for B2B concepts, such as organizations, members and roles, enabling seamless orchestration of B2B use cases. From managing member authentication to role assignments and access control, these capabilities streamline identity management and simplify the administration of complex B2B workflows.

New hosted SSO solution for streamlined integration

Our new SSO solution with hosted UI simplifies the implementation of single sign-on within our customers’ systems, making it easier than ever to provide a secure and seamless login experience. By combining OIDC, SAML and custom orchestration journeys, this service offers an intuitive setup process that reduces complexity for admins while ensuring a polished, branded user experience.

Highlights include:

• Experience management options: Admins can customize the hosted SSO interface by uploading a logo and defining primary, secondary and background colors to match their brand identity.

• Playground for testing: The service includes a built-in testing playground, allowing admins to preview and refine the end-user login flow before deployment.

Mobile-native Identity Verification: Smart UI and accessibility enhancements

We’ve introduced significant improvements to our Identity Verification (IDV) mobile SDKs (iOS and Android), bringing a code-free, ready-to-deploy IDV solution for mobile native applications. With a Smart UI, customers can enjoy a fully native, pre-configured experience that simplifies integration, reduces costs and delivers a consistent user experience across devices.

As part of our commitment to service accessibility, we’ve also introduced a new accessibility feature for the IDV end-user hosted application, ensuring compliance with ADA and international guidelines. This feature makes navigation more inclusive and user-friendly and is managed via a back-office flag, allowing customers to independently activate accessibility settings during initial setup.

Proactive defense: Strengthening security and preventing fraud

Fraud prevention and management: Seamless investigation and analysis tools

We’ve enhanced our Fraud Prevention investigation view (also known as the recommendations page) on our fraud prevention solution with powerful features designed to streamline fraud investigation and management, empowering teams with seamless tools for analysis and collaboration.

Key capabilities include:

• Integrated investigation panel: Quickly review events, share investigation links and collaborate with team members in one page.

• Custom lists for organized workflows: Create, update and manage event lists to prioritize tasks, maintain oversight, and ensure critical recommendations are promptly reviewed.

• Automated list management: Utilize List CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) to streamline list management and automate processes, enabling fraud operations to set up work queues and automate actions based on criteria such as fraud type or urgency.

Additionally, the fraud campaign and graph visualization features provide historical analysis and offer a comprehensive view of emerging and sophisticated fraud techniques.

New capabilities for mobile-native threats and real-time defense

We enhanced our proactive defense strategy to include mobile-native threat detection through advanced RASP signals delivered via a single SDK with no extra integration, helping detect compromised devices, malicious activity and social engineering threats in real time. Additionally, our identity-based API Security solution blocks hidden threats by uniting analytics, automated workflows and end-to-end data protection. We also power the Transmit Security Fraud Collaborative Network, harnessing cross-customer insights to reduce false positives, prevent emerging threats and strengthen fraud defenses. Lastly, the transaction data object enriches analysis with context such as amount, currency and participants, providing teams with critical details to assess transaction impacts effectively.

Strengthening fraud detection with multi-session analysis

To combat sophisticated fraud tactics, we introduced AI-driven multi-session analysis. This feature enhances our real-time identity verification capabilities by detecting patterns across sessions, such as repeated document attributes and discrepancies in biometric data. “Repeated Faces” identifies synthetic identities, while “Repeated Person” flags potential stolen identities, enabling admins to take prompt and decisive action.

Unmask Fraudsters with Face Blocklist

Our Identity Verification solution now includes a robust Face Blocklist feature, designed to combat advanced fraud tactics by identifying and blocking known fraudster faces. This enhancement analyzes biometric data across sessions, using advanced face matching to flag synthetic identities, deepfakes, and known bad actors.

By adding flagged faces to the blocklist, organizations can prevent repeat offenses, strengthen security measures, and streamline fraud prevention efforts.

We're now FAPI 2.0 certified: The key to secure and compliant Open Banking

The Mosaic FAPI 2.0 certification reinforces our commitment to security and compliance, providing a platform that meets rigorous regulatory standards and empowers customers to drive Open Banking innovation. By enhancing data protection, authentication and consent, this certification helps institutions comply with regulations such as PSD2 while safeguarding customer trust in a highly interconnected digital ecosystem.

Fortify your APIs with our API Security solution (in Beta)

In 2024, we launched the first phase of our API Security solution, designed to protect sensitive data and prevent cyber threats. This initial release includes API Discovery, which helps identify and monitor key API endpoints, and API Monitoring for real-time insights into API traffic. Customizable filters for timeframes, hosts and user agents offer detailed visibility, with additional analytics and threat intelligence enhancements on the way.

Powering our platform with best-in-class GenAI tools

Explain a journey with GenAI

To enhance collaboration and improve understanding of complex workflows, we introduced an Explain Journey feature powered by GenAI. This capability allows journey builders to request explanations of implemented journeys with the click of a button, helping multiple stakeholders align on the purpose and structure of the journey. A dynamic loading indicator provides a smooth experience as the system generates a response, making it easier to communicate and iterate on identity flows.

Bookmark conversational analytics and build custom dashboards with GenAI

We introduced bookmark capabilities alongside custom dashboards to enhance the user experience within Conversational Analytics. Users can now save specific questions or groups of questions for future use and organize them into named groups for easier retrieval, creating a personalized experience. This helps users avoid the need to rephrase frequent queries and ensures they can quickly access key insights without repeating previous steps.

Additionally, saved bookmark groups can be converted into dashboards for a comprehensive view of grouped insights, making it easier to transition from exploration to report-building seamlessly.

Ask Docs with GenAI: Redefining the user experience

We've implemented GenAI to simplify the user experience on our platform. This Ask Docs interface acts as an intelligent assistant, helping users query the platform for relevant information. By understanding user roles and context, the assistant delivers actionable steps tailored to individual needs, making complex tasks manageable without lengthy documentation. This update replaces static pages with a conversational, AI-powered experience designed to boost engagement and ease of use.

We’ve introduced a powerful new platform-wide feature: the Automated Workflows. This feature enables teams to streamline and automate tasks across various downstream services, seamlessly integrating identity and fraud data, events and insights from the Mosaic platform with their other existing systems.

With hundreds of pre-built integrations to support customer ecosystems and customizable logic for defining automated procedures, Automated Workflows simplifies case handling and operational processes. Workflows can also be triggered manually, allowing teams to standardize how reported cases are handled, ensuring consistency and improving processes.

Unified Verification page and Analytics Dashboard for Identity Verification

Our enhanced Identity Verification experience combines an upgraded verification page with a powerful new analytics dashboard, offering admins greater visibility and actionable insights. The verification page provides AI-powered explanations of final decisions, enabling deeper understanding and building trust. Meanwhile, the analytics dashboard presents trends, insights and key performance indicators essential for monitoring the verification journey. Admins can use filters to focus on specific timeframes or apps, compare successful and failed verifications and examine trends, creating a holistic view of the solution that improves decision-making and transparency.

Unlock collaboration in the Admin Portal

The Mosaic Admin Portal has evolved into a collaborative powerhouse, enabling teams to centralize workflows effortlessly. With in-portal comments, @mentions, and targeted email notifications, admins can collaborate directly within the platform. Comments can be scoped to individual projects or viewed globally based on admin preferences. These enhancements ensure tasks remain organized, communications are clear and external tools are no longer required to manage workflows.

Expanding our Microsoft partnership for enhanced security

Passkeys integration with Microsoft CIAM

Mosaic’s advanced Passkeys service has been seamlessly integrated with Azure AD B2C and Entra External ID, safeguarding passkey journeys through real-time, AI-driven fraud detection that prevents attackers from exploiting passkey vulnerabilities. Additionally, the solution features a User Experience Layer, which optimizes user flows by offering tailored experiences that enhance both security and usability across all platforms and channels.
